Who we are
Centurion Creator is operated by SoundVault Limited, trading as SyncVault (“SyncVault”, “we”, “us” or “our”), company number 06602618, with registered office at 124 Richmond Road, Southampton, England, SO15 3FS.
For relevant UK data-protection purposes, SoundVault Limited acts as controller where it determines how and why personal information is processed in connection with Centurion Creator. Privacy enquiries may be sent to support@syncvault.com.
02
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Centurion Creator collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal information. It supplements SyncVault’s general Privacy Policy. Where this policy is more specific about Centurion processing, this policy applies to that processing.
03
Use of YouTube API Services
Centurion Creator uses YouTube API Services. Centurion’s use of information received from YouTube APIs is subject to the YouTube API Services Terms, Developer Policies and applicable Google requirements.
Users should also review Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and the YouTube Terms of Service at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy.
04
How Centurion works
Public/guest video analysis: A user may submit an individual public YouTube video without signing into Google. Centurion may use public information relevant to that video obtained through YouTube API Services and limited associated public channel context where reasonably necessary to interpret the video. No private YouTube account data is accessed merely because a public URL is submitted.
Google sign-in: A user may sign into Centurion using Google to create or access a Centurion account and save Projects, conversations, analyses and history. Google sign-in for identity is separate from YouTube authorisation and does not by itself give Centurion access to private YouTube Analytics.
Optional YouTube connection: A creator may separately authorise Centurion to access specified YouTube data using applicable YouTube APIs. The requested permissions are presented during the Google/YouTube authorisation flow. Centurion accesses only the authorised data made available under those permissions.
05
Personal information we may process
Depending on the features you use, Centurion may process:
- account and contact information, including name/display name, email address, organisation details and Google account identifiers needed for sign-in;
- public YouTube video and channel information, including IDs, URLs, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, publication information, public statistics and relevant public channel information;
- creator-authorised YouTube information made available under approved OAuth permissions, which may include channel, video, Analytics or Reporting information depending on the feature and permissions available;
- Projects, saved analyses, prompts, questions, conversation history, feedback and support information;
- Centurion-generated assessments, classifications, observations, explanations, risk indicators, audience analysis and recommendations; and
- technical and usage information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser/device information, session/authentication logs, features used, errors, diagnostics and security/abuse-prevention information.
Centurion-generated assessments are Centurion-derived information and are not information supplied by YouTube or necessarily by the creator.
06
Why we use information
We use personal information and authorised API information to:
- provide requested Centurion analysis and connected features;
- authenticate users and operate accounts;
- connect authorised YouTube accounts and use the data needed for the user-facing feature requested;
- maintain Projects, analysis history and conversation continuity;
- provide channel, video, audience and performance intelligence;
- protect Centurion against fraud, misuse and unauthorised access;
- provide support and troubleshoot problems;
- evaluate and improve Centurion’s safety, quality and reliability where permitted; and
- comply with applicable law, legal requests and platform requirements.
The lawful basis depends on the feature and circumstances and may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation and consent where consent is the appropriate basis.
07
Artificial intelligence and automated processing
Centurion uses AI and automated processing to analyse information and generate guidance. Outputs may include predictions, inferences or assessments. Creator-facing guidance is intended to assist the user’s own decision-making and is not, merely because an analysis is requested, used by SyncVault to make a solely automated decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on the person analysed.
08
Product improvement and model training
Centurion is not entirely transient. For authenticated users, we may retain Projects, conversations, analyses, relevant evidence and history so users can return to a video and continue an analysis.
We may process data as necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve Centurion’s quality and reliability. Where practical and appropriate, we use aggregation, de-identification or minimisation for product analytics and improvement.
Creators’ prompts, content, analyses or authorised YouTube data are not permitted to be used by third-party AI providers to train their general-purpose or foundation models unless SyncVault expressly introduces such processing under an appropriate legal, contractual and privacy framework and provides any required notice or choice.
10
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is processed, taking account of product functionality, the user’s relationship with Centurion, security, dispute and legal requirements, and applicable Google/YouTube requirements.
Where YouTube policies require stored API data to be refreshed, authorisation to be revalidated, or stored data to be deleted within a particular period, those requirements govern the relevant API data.
When information is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymised or otherwise handled in accordance with our retention and backup practices.
11
Disconnecting Google / YouTube and revoking access
You can disconnect a connected YouTube account and revoke Centurion’s Google/YouTube access from within Centurion. You can also revoke Centurion’s Google/YouTube access through your Google Account permissions at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Revocation may prevent connected Centurion features from continuing to work.
When you disconnect or revoke Centurion’s YouTube access, Centurion may be required to delete relevant stored authorised YouTube API data in line with applicable YouTube API policies.
Centurion does not request or store your YouTube password. Revoking Centurion access does not delete the corresponding content or data held by Google or YouTube.
12
Deleting your data
You may request deletion of personal information and stored YouTube API user data by contacting support@syncvault.com or by using an in-product account deletion control where available.
Where a deletion request or account deletion requires stored YouTube API user data to be deleted, SyncVault will delete the relevant stored data as soon as reasonably practicable and within any shorter period required by applicable YouTube API policies. Deleting data from Centurion does not delete the corresponding data held by YouTube.
13
International transfers and security
Some service providers may process personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, SyncVault uses safeguards recognised by UK data-protection law, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections and associated risk assessments.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, loss, disclosure or destruction. No internet service is completely secure.
15
Your rights and children
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and to raise concerns about automated processing. UK users may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
To exercise rights, contact support@syncvault.com. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request.
Centurion is not intended for independent use by children. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact support@syncvault.com.
16
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as Centurion develops or as legal, regulatory, technical or third-party platform requirements change. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. The current version will be published with its revision date.
